Werner Machine: From Humble Beginnings to Industry Excellence
Werner Machine, a custom CNC machining facility, was founded 25 years ago by Victor Werner, a machining enthusiast. Victor's journey began in the early 90s with an automobile-related business focused on restoration and customization. During this time, he discovered his talent for machining, starting with a tabletop mill in his basement and later acquiring a full-size Bridgeport milling machine. This newfound passion led him to work for Higginbotham & Associates, where he honed his skills and became the company's first full-time employee.
Encouraged by his employer, Victor ventured out on his own in April 2000, purchasing the computerized milling part of the shop from Higginbotham. With the support of his long-time friend and colleague, Rob Escoe, a partnership was formed, and Werner Machine was born. The company quickly established itself as a reliable and high-quality machine shop.
Located in Marietta, Georgia, Werner Machine produces everything from small-batch manufacturing orders to larger manufacturing runs. As a dedicated Haas equipment shop, our team operates six vertical mills and three CNC lathes, specializing in machining aluminum, plastics, steel, and stainless alloys.
Werner Machine functions like a family business. While team members may not be related, many have known each other since before the company's inception. This close-knit culture is evident in our low turnover rate and the high number of long-term clients we proudly serve.
